5 July 2013

We brought Clyde home with us today. Took Betty down to meet him at the football court. Allowed them a long introduction of sniffing each other and becoming friends. Clyde isn't quite used to wearing the collar and being walked just yet. Hopefully Betty will help with him getting adjusted to walks and using the litter pan. Clyde will turn 8 months come 16 July. I hope I am successful in training him to use the litter pan by that time. At the moment, he's a happy little water hose. A crap monster as well. Urghh... all part and parcel of having a puppy. Can't wait for him to be house-broken. Still, he's now our second much equally loved tiny little beast.

Daddy and Clyde's first picture together :)
Coincidentally both Daddy and Clyde share the same astrological star sign. They are Scorpios. Myself and Betty are Pisceans. Of course, this isn't too important. However, we love knowing that and somehow this makes us feel very close. We are one happy family. Life is so much better with dogs in the household. They bring about joy, comfort, love, commitment and responsibility. I love coming home to my fur kids. They are my love beasts!

After about an hour of getting to know each other, we all went up together. Upon opening the main door, Clyde immediately went about sniffing his new home. Betty didn't mind one bit. She was in fact very accommodating towards Clyde. I am so proud of Betty.

Here's Clyde just hanging around in the living room. He seems at home already.

His first meal in his new home. We feed him with Canidae - All Life Stages dry formula (Chicken, Turkey, Lamb and Fish) Compared to Betty, Clyde eats very slowly.

Nap after a meal. Betty is still Queen of the couch. A respectful little guy, Clyde respects Betty's turf. He's so sweet.
